No holiday is complete without this creamy, heavenly traditional Haitian drink.... Hello "Krema

Makes 2 1/2 quarts

(1) can evaporated milk 12 ounce

(3-4) cans of sweetened condensed milk 14 ounces ... start by adding 3 cans of sweetened condensed milk, after mixing if you find that you'd like the consistency of your drink to be thicker add the 4th can and mic thoroughly)

(1) can cream of coconut or coconut milk 13.5 ounce

1 1/2 tsp of #CCQ Kay Manman spice mix

Zest of 1 lime

Juice of 1 lime

1 tbsp essence

1 tsp white vinegar (TRUST ME ON THIS)

Seed of 1 vanilla bean pod

Save vanilla bean pod to add to drink after blending

1 1/2 cups of everclear 151 proof....

Pour all ingredients into a large bowl and mix thoroughly for 3-5 until everything is well Incorporated, don't be alarmed if you see small clumps of#CCQ Kay Manman spice mix and vanilla beans floating at the top, we will resolve this issue with the following step... pour entire Kremas Mix into a large blender and blend on low for 1-2 minutes. .. blending is to assist with breaking up the lime pulp, breaking up the clumps of spice mix and breaking up the clumps of vanilla bean) ... please be advised that because of the capacity of your blender you may only be able to do half of the mix at a time to avoid mixture from spilling out of blender when turned on...when done blending, pour into a large plastic jug add the remaining skin of the vanilla bean pod whole, seal jar with a tight-fitting lid and refrigerate for two to three days ... once you've refrigerated for a few days, you have two options. you can #1. Serve it this way with the little tiny bits of lime pulp and little speckles of the spice mix.....or you can #2. Remove Kremas from the refrigerator and strain using a cheesecloth or strainer to remove any grit or tiny bits of lime zest... Once drink has been strain, pour into a large clean jug and serve to your guess... Must be kept refrigerated. ENJOY!
